Getting To Beach Road
Beach Road is situated in the pretty seaside village of Whitehead, Co.Antrim
in Northern Ireland. Only a 30 minute drive from Belfast, the Nature Reserve
is an ideal day out, and you can take in the great views of the Antrim
coast line.
By Road
From Belfast, travel along the M2 motorway, Continue forward onto
the M5 (signposted Whiteabbey, Carrickfergus)
At Shore Road Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Shore Road - A2 (signposted
Whiteabbey, Carrickfergus) Entering Whiteabbey
At Shore Road Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Shore Road on the A2
Continue forward onto Shore Road - A2. Entering Monkstown
Continue forward onto Shore Road - A2. Entering Greenisland
Continue forward onto Belfast Road - A2. Entering Carrickfergus
At Marine Highway Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Marine Highway
- A2
Continue forward onto Larne Road - A2. Entering Eden
Continue forward onto Princess Park - A2. Entering Whitehead
The Journey is 17 miles approx and will probably take around 30 - 40 minutes
By Rail
Whitehead has a train service, bringing you to the heart
of the village. Services are available from Belfast Central station, and
you can find more information on the Northern
Ireland Railways Website.
By Bus
